Tell me Cosplay #124,5 : Kitakichan

The first interview Kitakichan was a success. Thank you. And they, like me, took a real pleasure to do. It is so very impatient, they answered your questions today.

How did you meet?

We performed together (2009) in a cosplayshowgroup called “Back on Stage – Onigiri“.

What are the qualities and faults of the other, in your opinion?

Kitty about Itakichan: She knows everything but sometimes way too accurate ;D

If I have a question she always knows how fix stuff.

Itakichan about Kitty: She is such a good friend you can go to the
top of the mountains (the ends of the earth) with her, if they are still there ^^ But sometimes she is a bit too spontanious... especially when it comes to cosplay :'D

You know a little France? Want to visit ? The French fans want to meet you.

Kitty: Voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir ?

Itakichan: Je m'appelles Isabelle. Je ne comprends pas.

Hahahah sorry this is everything we know. We would LOVE to come to France to meet new people and see new conventions but atm we don't have any money.

You've never had the desire to do modeling ?

We actually helped Cornelia Gillman Photography for her Model set card. But we do not have the size for beeing some real models!

You set limits in the practice of cosplay ?

If does not fit to our body type. For example Loli characters.

In case of the blues , comforting easier the other?

Sure!! We always support each other. We are also roomates which makes it easier!

A tip to embark on this passion?

Choose an easy outfit for your very first cosplay. And of course you also have to like the character.

In the internet you can find a lot of tutorials and the community is most of the time very helpful!

There are a lot of Facebook groups!!

You have had bad memories ?

Yes. Because it is not always sunny in Philadelphia if you know what we mean ^^
Cosplay is a HOBBY. Health, work/school, friends and family is much more important than finishing a new cosplay for a shooting/convention. We also had to learn this the hard way.

What is the image of cosplay in Austria?

It is a splitted community. There are lots of sexy cosplayers like us AND very skilled people who craft pretty cool stuff while showing no skin. The Fanbase has to love or hate it and you can't make everyone happy!

Ever want to cosplay solo?

We often do solo cosplays!

For example Itakichan did Starfire and Kitty did Black Cat.

What a feeling to the idea to interview for a French blog? Were you surprised ? A good experience ?

It was a very nice experience and we feel very flattered for this chance and all the new questions.

We wish to travel to more conventions outside our country. We would love to see the cosplayworld! ^^
